Get to know more about Michelle and her time at Compass below:

1. When did you join the Compass Government Solutions team?

June 2021, and it's been an amazing 14 months!

2. What’s your relationship like with the rest of the team?

I feel extremely fortunate to work for CGS! The Compass team is remarkable. We all have a solid working relationship that focuses on communication, trust, and respect. We embrace new ideas and empower each other while we focus on the growth and success of Compass. I appreciate this team as we all have the same goal of building a reputable and successful company.

3. How has your career grown since you started with Compass?

I have experienced a great deal of professional growth since starting with Compass. I had worked with Tracy Balazs, CEO, previously at another company she had founded. When she first told me she was starting Compass, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted, and needed, to come with her. She has been an exceptional role model and mentor for me. She has a solid understanding of government contracting and healthcare. We both share the same passion for supporting the mission of the project we are supporting. Working with her has allowed me the autonomy, but still having a resource available any time I have a question. I appreciate every opportunity to work with outstanding teaming partner/people where we are able to collaborate and share best practices. I take advantage of every chance I can to learn and better myself. I continue to strive daily to be a better, stronger and more confident person. Compass to me is an exciting, forward-thinking, fast paced company that will continue to allow me the ability to grow professionally.

4. What’s a fun fact about you?

I love saltwater fishing, and if I'm not at work I want to be on our boat in the ocean with tight lines!
