Tracy Balazs launches Compass Government Solutions

5/5/2021 – Federal government contracting leader Tracy Balazs launches Compass Government Solutions, an agile government contractor with an eye on the mission to support projects and programs that support federal health, military readiness, and social and behavioral sciences.

Tracy Balazs founded Federal Staffing Resources, LLC dba FSR in 2004 and grew it to an award-winning, 8(a), women-owned small business recognized by the SBA, INC5000, and many other organizations. Over the last 17 years, she developed her company and team to be able to be competitive in the government contracting sector, at which time in 2018, FSR was acquired by Webster Equity Partners as part of their Healthcare portfolio under Epic Staffing Group. Her FSR successes include awards on the $7.5B DHA MQS IDIQ, Air Force CLASS IDIQ, the Navy MATOS, and numerous other contracts providing healthcare, military readiness, program management, and emergency relief services serving federal agencies nationwide and overseas.

As a thought leader in small business government contracting, Tracy has been called upon by Congressional leadership to speak to the challenges facing small businesses. While CEO of FSR, she supported four small business in the SBA mentor-protégé program.
